The Model #1998 will prevent your equipment from restarting after a power interruption and won’t allow a reset until the equipment switch has been turned off.Model #1998 has twenty inch cord on equipment switch end. Eight foot cord on power end (no plug). The electrical ratings are 120 V. AC. 18 Amps Maximum. 50/60 Hz. Used on 120-volt machines where the power cord is old and/or you want to connect to a disconnect box or you want to install a 20-amp plug on the cord or a twisting locking type plug on the cord.
